Edgewood Farm, which is nestled at the foot of the Minnesota River Valley bluffs, offers a truly unique setting that surrounds you with the peaceful views of the trees and valley as well as the character and charm of a country farm. The barn can host 250 people for a sit down dinner. They have an amazing ceremony site that is set into the hillside and overlooks the valley-what a breathtaking view! Edgewood also offers a super cute honeymoon suite which is a reconstructed cabin from the 1800’s-complete with a porch and rocking chair. The barn also has its own porch which over looks the valley and bon-fire pit. They can also host winter weddings here which is a rare find. Mayowood Stone Barn Venue Tour
Mayowood Stone Barn’s website states it well when it says “There is history here…and something quite magical about this place”. I couldn’t agree more! From the moment you step onto the property, it feels like you have stepped back in time! The stone barn, located in Rochester MN, can hold up to 300 people. On the property you will find the absolute perfect “wedding tree” to exchange your vows. The loft of the barn, complete with church pews, is also available for the ceremony in case of rain. The bridal get ready rooms are pretty amazing as well! Mayowood is definitely worth checking out if you are considering a barn wedding, however they book out far in advance, so make sure to save your date early! The Historic Deglman Farm, Princeton Minnesota, Wedding Venue
The Historic Deglman Farm, is located in Princeton MN, and has been in the family since 1934. The large barn which was built in 1946, was then used as a working dairy barn. The barn today provides a wedding venue that is truly one of a kind. The barn loft is spacious enough for 200 guests, and displays lots of interesting, antique decor which hangs from the walls and ceiling. Dave, the owner has put lots of fun touches around the property, including an old style outhouse, an old western mining entrance-fun for pics and also a nice fire pit area, and a chicken coop. Another great thing about the Deglman Farm is the price… it is one of the cheaper venues I have toured. I would recommend this barn to anyone looking for a true, country wedding or a lover of antiques… lots of fun to be had here!
