Anita + Paul were such a fun couple to work with. Lead planner Kellie actually played hockey with Anita, so this wedding definitely tugged on the heart strings. The couple actually met at a hockey game – a mutual friend had initiated a meet up and thought that it would be F U N for Paul to watch Anita play! Helping plan their wedding was so fun, and the day came up very quick.
Kellie and assistant Kristin helped with this wedding at the beautiful Redeemed Farm [one of our F A V S!] Julie + Jeff from Redeemed are so great to work with, and we love coming back to this venue time and time again! Rustic Elegance prepped the decor at the ceremony site, including a handmade cross by the couple, and the couple’s unity symbol. Guests were invited to come an hour early to enjoy drinks, yard games, and mingling on the barn grounds instead of your traditional cocktail hour.
The ceremony was beautiful – the groom’s children Patrick + Britta played the prelude violin music as guests arrived. The couple stood together at the altar and said their vows in front of their 140 guests. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a buffet dinner by Custom Catering which was O H so yummy! The barn was set up with simple decor, including the Rustic Elegance Milk Can as a card box, and a large spread of desserts including cupcakes, cookies, and long johns!
The couple danced their first dance to I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis, and it was oh so S W E E T! We loved being a part of Anita + Paul’s wedding day and wish them all the best in their new adventure together! Thank you two for including us in such a special day [hopefully Kellie will get to see you again on the ice again soon Anita]! Also thank you to TMOR Photography for these S T U N N I N G pictures from the big day!

Blair + Peter were such a fun couple to work with throughout the planning process. The couple hosted their wedding at Redeemed Farm where we absolutely love working with the owners Julie & Jeff.
The wedding day started with the ladies getting ready in the onsite bridal suite, and the Rustic Elegance team of Kellie & Kristin prepping decor throughout the farm. After a morning full of preparation, it was time for the main event!
The groom wore an all white outfit & we loved how much that made him stand out with the beautiful bride! The gorgeous ceremony took place in the Redeemed Farm vineyard. The wedding processional consisted of the couple’s family members and their partners whom the bride and groom look up to and cherish in their lives. Blair & Peter processed down the aisle together and stood at the front to say their “I do’s”. The family also took a part in their blessing & anchoring ritual during the ceremony.
After the couple was officially married, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the machine shed at the farm. Their cocktail hour also included a hot dog stand provided by Natedogs – A M A Z I N G & delicious! Guests also enjoyed a live bluegrass band, Bernie King and Guilty Pleasures.
Dinner was then hosted in the lower level of the barn. They had a fajita and taco bar by K&J Catering which guests loved! After tacos, the guests headed upstairs for dessert, dancing, and to watch a video of the couple’s past photos together. Desserts were a mix of bars made by the caterers, and the bride’s mom also made a few family favorites [so S W E E T!]. Guests danced the night away before the shuttle bus brought them back to the hotel in the evening. But, before making it to the hotel, the guests stopped at Miesters on the way to get some great cheese curds to top off the night!
Blair + Peter – we hoped married live is just as lively and fun as this day was, and we can’t wait to continue to watch your love story flourish! Shout out to Heather Jackson Photography for the amazing photos featured on the blog!

Megan + Tyler were seriously such a S W E E T couple to work with! Lead planner Kellie loved planning this backyard tent wedding. The couple was married on the groom’s family property – ceremony site down by the lake, with the tent set up a short walk away on open grass!
Leading up to the wedding, the days were rainy, but the day of the wedding turned out G O R G E O U S [sunny, and full of excitement!]. Kellie, Olivia + Kayla showed up early to help get the tent dry, prepped, and decorated along with help from the family. We’ve Got It Covered did lighting and draping in the tent – which we always love that extra touch! The ladies got ready in the main house, while the guys prepped in the guest house. Tessa June Photography was there to capture the whole day, and we loved working with her – she has such great energy! The bride did a first look with her girls before doing one with her future hubby – all reactions were P R I C E L E S S!
The ceremony set up was S T U N N I N G – guests walked from the parking area down a path that brought you to the site down by the lake. There was a beautiful handmade arch with draping + decor, an old dresser set up with the unity symbol and shepherds hooks with lanterns hung on them – truly a sight to see! The ceremony entrance featured the Rustic Elegance doors along with some floral. The wedding party processed from a point up the hill, and then the bride & her dad came in with a surprise entrance down the trail, giving them a little bit of a longer walk together. The groom’s reaction was one that all bride’s hope for + Tessa captured the best photos! After the ceremony, the bridal party headed to the garage/guest house for a toast while guests proceeded to the tent.
Cocktail hour was sweet – guests were able to grab a cocktail at the bar and snacks on the tables outside of the tent. The wedding party made their grand entrance as did the couple – complete with a ride in on a V I N T A G E car! Dinner was provided buffet style by Just North of Memphis – filled with BBQ options that we loved! Speeches were made by the bride’s twin sister & MOH, the best man, and family members. Then it was time for dancing & desserts. Nothing Bundt Cakes were spread throughout the dessert table – such a Y U M M Y set up!! The Rusted Revolver, a live band that played underneath the tent and kept the guests dancing all night long!
Megan + Tyler – we hope that married live [plus your cute puppy addition] is a dream, and we loved being a part of your big day! Shout out to Tessa June Photography for sharing these A M A Z I N G photos with us!

Katelin + Jeremy were seriously the sweetest couple to work with! Lead coordinator Kayla loved getting together with Katelin to plan and also enjoyed their in depth phone convos with the bride! The couple decided on getting married at Almquist Farm, on a beautiful Sunday in the fall. The farm has a stunning ceremony site, bridal/grooms rooms for both the guys and for the girls, a large lawn perfect for cocktail hour or an outdoor dinner, and a large reception barn with capacity for 340 guests. We love working at Almquist + the owners Paul & Kari are A M A Z I N G!
The ladies spent the morning getting ready in the adorable onsite bridal suite with getting their hair and makeup done. While the girls got ready, Rustic Elegance unpacked and placed decor all over the property! The day was beautiful, and perfect for the outdoor ceremony. The couple rented two of the barrels from Rustic Elegance which were placed at the entrance of the ceremony site, one with pretty flowers and the other housed their guestbook. Kevin Wood Photography snapped photos of the first look, bridal party, and family before the ceremony [and got some adorable shots]!
Finally, it was time for these two to tie the knot! Katelin walked elegantly down the long green-filled pathway to meet Jeremy at the front of the aisle. Almquist has three beautiful decor options for the ceremony: a gorgeous birchwood circular arch, a wooden trellis, or a cross to go behind the couple. After the ceremony was finished and these two sealed the deal with a kiss, guests followed by greeting them in a receiving line, and went to the cocktail hour hosted on the large lawn outside of the barn. This Little Piggy catered in a few buffet style appetizers, while the Almquist team manned the bar. Guests then headed into the reception barn where This Little Piggy had set up a delicious buffet style meal.
After dinner, Midwest Sound turned up the volume and got the party started! The couple enjoyed their special first dance, and then the rest of the guest joined them on the dance floor. For dessert, This Little Piggy brought an assortment of sweet treats out that guests loved.
Katelin + Jeremy – we hope that married life is nothing but the best and that you are enjoying every minute of it! We loved being your day of coordinator and can’t wait to watch your love grow. Shout out to Kevin Wood Photography for sharing these photos with us!

Charlotte & Jonathan where do we even start with this sweet couple? Lead coordinator Kellie planned with Charlotte and her mom and loved helping them envision the perfect wedding day for the couple while Jonathan completed training for the military. The couple tied the knot at Green Acres Event Center, a beautiful barn situated in Eden Prairie [who we love working with!].
The August wedding date was finally here, and it was a B E A U T I F U L day! The couple opted to have their ceremony at the outside location at Green Acres surrounded by the trees & nature. Decor included the Rustic Elegance ceremony doors with double barrels at the entrance. 101 Market brought gorgeous floral for the doors and barrels making for a S T U N N I N G entrance for the wedding party to walk down the aisle through. Finally, it was ceremony time & guests watched Charlotte enter with her father gracefully down the aisle as she met the love of her life at the front of the podium. In a short & sweet ceremony, the couple tied the knot with their closest family and friends, and Spicy Meatball Photography was there to capture all of the special moments.
On the inside of the barn, the set-up crew at Green Acres placed linens and dinnerware while the Rustic Elegance team placed decor throughout. The dessert table was A M A Z I N G with treats and a cake from Sweet Assurance. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and passed appetizers outside before heading in for the buffet style dinner from Deco Catering. After an amazing dinner & F A B speeches, it was time to dance the night away! Spicy Meatball did photography, DJing and a photo booth for this wedding and did a G R E A T job with all of these duties!
The couple ended the night with the bride doing a dress change into her getaway dress, and exited through a P E R F E C T sparkler send off. Charlotte and Jonathan, we hope that married life is a T R E A T and that you two are enjoying it! Thank you for including Rustic Elegance as the day-of-coordinator for your wedding – we L O V E D working with you. Megan + David were such a fun couple to get to know throughout the planning process! Lead planner Kellie loved working with Megan and learning about all her decor ideas. Megan and her now mother-in-law partake in a pop-up shop with A M A Z I N G rustic decor, so being experts in this area, they had lots of great ideas – so F U N! After much planning and prepping, the day arrived in no time!
This sweet couple had their wedding at Bloom Lake Barn, which we L O V E being at and working with their amazing owners [they R O C K!]. Rustic Elegance arrived early to prep & place the decor brought in, which included so many cute details. One of these details included a ladder which was hung above the head table and had S T U N N I N G lights hanging from it, greenery was also added by the florist – one of our F A V decor elements of the day! While Rustic Elegance worked quickly to get everything set for the day, the ladies prepped in the bridal suite while Kelly Birch Photography snapped some great photos of them. Later, the guys arrived and hung out in the air conditioned groom’s room at the barn before the ceremony started.
Although it was a hot day, the couple had a B E A U T I F U L ceremony outside, followed by cocktail hour on the lower level/outside of the barn. During cocktail hour, the wedding party slipped away and headed to town in a party bus for some additional celebrating! After the G R A N D entrance, it was time for a yummy dinner provided by Unique Dining Experience, followed by dessert by Nothing Bundt Cakes. These sweet cakes were displayed on Bloom Lake Barn’s wood farm table with a variety of mismatched dessert stands – L O V E this! After dinner and desserts, Rustic Elegance helped flip part the barn and transformed into a dance floor, ready for all to dance the night away.
Megan + David – we loved working with you to create your M A G I C A L wedding day. We hope that married life is treating you well & can’t wait to follow your love story. Shout out to Kelly Birch Photography for the fantastic photos used in the blog!

Our lead coordinator, Kayla, had SO much for planning with Melissa + Matt in the months prior to their wedding. Being a very organized person, Melissa would come to the planning meetings with her “book of knowledge” – a binder that included everything needed to know about her big day! The couple decided to tie the knot at Dellwood Country Club, a beautifully situated venue in Dellwood, MN.
When the day was finally here, the Rustic Elegance team arrived and unpacked the decor boxes and set-up. The ladies prepped for the day with Lady Vamp Artistry rocking their makeup. The tables were decorated with a variety of centerpieces, including lighthouse figurines [the groom is a huge light house fan] which we L O V E D that they incorporated this into their day! The ceremony was set up with minimal decor – wine barrels at the entrance with fall mums, a few memory photos of loved ones, and blanket scarves to keep guests warm throughout the ceremony. After all the set up and preparation, it was finally time to tie the knot!
The ring bearer drove down the center of the aisle in a motorized remote control fire truck, which was O H – S O adorable! It was really fitting due to the groom being a firefighter [and another firetruck came later for pictures!]. After everyone had their smiles and giggles from the ring bearer, it was time for the main event. Melissa + her dad made their grand entrance as they entered down the deck staircase of the Country Club, with Matt watching from the front. They opted to not do a pre-ceremony first look, so this was the first time he was seeing his beautiful bride. After a short + sweet ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the Fireside Room before filling into the main dining room for dinner.
The wedding party was seated at a harvest table in the middle of the room, surrounded by round guest tables throughout. Dinner was prepared and served by the Dellwood catering service, with desserts being brought in by Hyvee [which were amazing P I E S!]. After dinner, loving speeches and desserts, it was time to dance! The DJ turned up the music and guests were on the dance floor for the rest of the evening. The couple also played the “shoe game” which made for great fun for all!
Melissa + Matt – we so L O V E D being a part of your wedding day and can’t wait to watch your love story continue for years to come. Shout out to Spicy Meatball Photography for sharing these amazing photos with us to use in the blog!

Oh where to start with this S W E E T couple! Haley + Makkonen dug into their planning process with lead planner Kellie and the outcome was the most P E R F E C T day! This couple’s love story goes all the way back to high school [high school sweethearts – L O V E it]. Their wedding took place at the Gardens of Castle Rock, an A M A Z I N G outdoor venue that we love being at! We’ve Got It Covered came early in the morning do some G O R G E O U S draping under the tent and brought along their deep purple linens for the guest tables. The ladies in the wedding party prepped for the day in the newly renovated bridal suite, and the guys arrived a little later just in time for their first look! Jeannine Marie photographed this sweet couple and their bridal party throughout the day, doing a F A N T A S T I C job as always. Rustic Elegance prepped the guest tables, place cards, dessert table, and other decor throughout the space, and finally it was ceremony time!
The ceremony was held under the Lath House at the Gardens of Castle Rock. The site was S T U N N I N G featuring a arch of gorgeous flowers provided by Studio B Floral, entrance doors provided by us, a pink aisle runner and the natural beauty of the venue. After the ceremony, it was time for cocktail hour- guests enjoyed refreshments and appetizers by Mintahoe catering, and also enjoyed touring the beautifully manicured grounds and gardens. Guests then moved under the tent to their beautiful decorated dinner tables with purple linens, burlap purple runners, white napkins, gold chairs, and floral centerpieces from Studio B Floral. The newlyweds sat at a sweetheart table – a cute touch! Mintahoe served an amazing dinner, and speeches came next, where there was not a dry eye in the room for most of them. We love hearing old & fun memories about the couples in the speeches! The rest of the evening was full of dancing and love radiating from the happily married couple.
Haley + Makkonen – Thank you for including us in your day as your wedding coordinator’s, we love being a part of your love story! We hope that married life is a dream, and wish you all the love and happiness. Special shout out to Jeannine Marie Photography for sharing these A M A Z I N G pictures with us!

John + Jenna – where to even start with these two lovebirds! This couple booked their package a little bit later than some. Kellie and Kristin met with the couple only T H R E E weeks before their wedding date! Although the planning process was short, lead planner Kristin noted how sweet & laid back they were. The couple planned the wedding at Redeemed Farm in their beautiful vineyard. Kristin headed to the farm on Thursday evening to assist with their rehearsal – 70 degrees in J U L Y!
Finally, it was F R I D A Y! The ladies prepped for the morning in the bridal suite and were looking stunning. While the wedding party got ready, the mother of the groom was making C U T E + personalized brown-bagged lunches for everyone with their names on it. The gentleman sported different colored F L O R A L ties which added a super fun touch to the day! As everyone got ready for the big day, Kristin and Angie prepped the decor. Studio B Floral added some G O R G E O U S greenery to the ceremony arch – we loved that added touch. One of Kristin’s favorite decor pieces was the Rustic Elegance ladder featuring the couple’s grandparent portraits.
John + Jenna opted to have married couples paired up to create their wedding party processional versus just the traditional friends on each side. As a super family oriented pair, they felt that they wanted to begin their marriage surrounded by the successful + loving couples in their lives [L O V E this]! While the processional occurred, the Lovers of Vitamin String Quartet played. Both the bride and groom were escorted down the aisle by both of their parents, which was so heartwarming to witness.
After the ceremony was completed, everyone headed into the machine shed for cocktails and yard games. Dinner was promptly served in the barn after guests had a chance to mingle and enjoy the beautiful grounds at Redeemed Farm. After the wonderful dinner by Vincenzo’s Catering, guests [+ the newlyweds] enjoyed Sebastian Joe’s Ice Cream Sandwiches which were a huge H I T! Midwest Sound DJ kept the music pumping and the night going – we didn’t want it to end! It was T R U L Y a wonderful day, surrounded by friends + family of the couple.
Jenna + John, we loved helping coordinate your special day! Thank you so much for including Rustic Elegance! We hope that married life is the B E S T ever.
